Birthday card for my Grandma. All stamps by Hero Arts except for the big flower on the inside and the envelope -- it is by Impress -- and the small happy birthday on the front left -- it is by Savvy Stamps. I had tons of fun making this card! My Grandma's favorite color is red, so that is why the red! I used watercolor pencils color everything.

Birthday card for Jason's Grandma. Jason requested spring colors so that is what I made. All stamps by Hero Arts. I colored the flowers and vase with watercolor pencils.
b31 3.2005 Birthday card for my Great Aunt Freda. She turned 83 this year. She's a big tea drinker so I thought she'd like this card. All stamps by Hero Arts except for the House Mouse one!
b30 2.2005 Birthday card for my friend and awesome stamp artist, Barbara Hache! "Make a wish" by Savvy Stamps, ruler by Ma Vinci's Reliquary, all other stamps by Hero Arts. The light brown cardstock on top was distressed using Tim Holtz's tea dye and vintage photo inks, and the bottom brown cardstock where there ruler is was distressed with Tim's walnut and vintage photo. This is the technique where you crumple up cardtock, rub distress ink on it, spritz it with water to let the colors run and then iron it. It's great fun! The card base is a handmade notecard by Fabriano.
b29 1.2005 "Manly" birthday card for Jason's dad! Saying by Hero Arts, washers and eyelets that look like screws by Making Memories. I wrapped wire around the eyelets before completely setting them. Stamped a birthday cake on the inside.

b24 7.2004 Birthday card for my friend Scott! Those are 3 different kind of grape leaves on the front -- from our garden! I did the saying on the computer, don't remember which font. The saying says: have a "grape" birthday. The card is by Fabriano -- they are handmade in Italy!

Birthday card for my sister Chris! She's turning 29 this year so I had to take this opportunity to torture her, wha ha ha! Alpahbet by Ma Vinci's Reliquary. Twine ribbon by 7 Gypsies.

I made the "29" by stamping the numbers, punching them out with a circle punch, and applying Diamond Glaze over the top!

The pictures are kind of dark, it's been raining all week so I had to use the flash.

This card fits a business-size envelope.

b22 6.2004

Birthday card for my sister Jamie! Present by Savvy, saying by Hero Arts. The striped paper is by Making Memories. It's been cloudy and rainy for days, so I had to use the flash to take this one.

This card fits a business-size envelope.

This is one of those cards that looks better in person! The paper is a neat grayish color and it has tiny sparkles in it, and the embossing didn't scan very well. :-( Spaceship by Hot Potatoes, "exhaust" by Magenta, background stamp and saying by Hero Arts.
b9 7.2003
Birthday definition stamp by Hero Arts. I used the stamp to make the "newspaper" that the bouquet is in -- got that idea from the Hero Arts Catalog! Plaid background stamp also by Hero Arts. Sticker was just labeled "Handmade Sticker". That's a textured paper the card is made from.
